A slight smell of smoke lingers and a hazy sky has covered Los Gatos and others cities around the SF Bay area for weeks. First, the Summit Fire, then the Martin Fire.... both unusual and rare for this area. We are saddened for those who've lost pets and property, and we curse the merciless fire for its enduring destruction. We also praise those brave men and women who stood on the firelines to battle the flames into ashes. They are heroes.
