FIRE IN THE MOUNTAINS
A slight smell of smoke lingers and a hazy sky has covered Los Gatos
and others cities around the SF Bay area for weeks. First, the Summit Fire, then the
Martin Fire.... both unusual and rare for this area. We are saddened for those
who've lost pets and property, and we curse the merciless fire for its
enduring destruction. We also praise those brave men and women who stood on the
firelines to battle the flames into ashes.
With helpless feelings we all probably experience at these times,
some of us do donate time or money to try and help. Valx created the "HELP
PREVENT FOREST FIRES" poster and has given some away around town . Now everyone

- HEALING WANDS -
Without a better name for a magic wand (backscratcher),
"healing wands" are once again seen coming to life in Valx's studio.
The new collection of sticks with stones are handcrafted from local Los Gatos
grape vines. The 40 year old grape wood is very hard and has been sundried for over
a year. Sculptured and sanded to a smooth touch, Valx artfully embeds polished
stones into the wood, Wands are anywhere from five inches in length up to fifteen.
Each one is individually named and priced ($300-$2000) and are One-Of-A-Kind,
charged in positive Valx chi... The Healing Wand collection will be completed in
August, and then will be available to the public......
DISCLAIMER
Although the Healing Wands actually do contain positive chi absorbed
from Valx and the surrounding environment, the word healing is not used to imply actual
results in case of serious injury. Stones have been used for eons to help ease pain
and help balance the bodies energies.
