Healing is such a vast subject it is certainly beyond the scope of any website to completely cover every aspect of healing oneself, healing others, healing animals or healing from another source

To heal oneself or others please acquaint yourself with macrobiotics first.   Like was written, a proper diet is the portal one must fly through to bring about change.  THEN take a brief tour through the Chakra page to get a glimpse into the ENERGY MATRIX, the LIGHT, the AURA that's the framework your physical body molds itself around.  AND REMEMBER, this website is meant to be like a launch pad you blast off from, rocketing into the clouds to discover the TRUTH. Of course, further study on topics that excite you must be undertaken. On the RESOURCES page you'll see many interesting books probably available from Amazon.com or at your local bookstore

ACUPRESSURE  Unlike the manner of acupuncture performed by a professional, Acupressure can be performed by you, to yourself, to a spouse, daughter, son, grandparent, friend, etc..  To do so requires a little knowledge of the millions of electromagnetic point centers (EPC) which are joined by meridians that weave throughout your body's organs, muscles, bones, and bloodstream.  Within these meridians travels your life force often called "chi".  With the touch of fingers (toes too I assume) one can influence the flow of chi.  Mostly, it is written by Chinese medicine men and women, that Acupressure releases the accumulation of chi blocked along the meridians in EPCs. This blockage is called Tsubos. Moxibustion is another healing art, and unlike acupuncture needles or acupressures finger, Moxibustion is performed by placing a dollop of herbs and igniting it (thanks, but no thanks).

All you need to learn is where to find a few meridians intersections or sensitive points. Plotting of these points came about from trial and error over the last 5,000 years. Yet all you have to do, is feel around.  Where it's sore, just press.  If that doesn't work press somewhere else.  Press with finger tip or knuckle till it starts to hurt for about five seconds then rest 5 seconds. Do this for about one minute.  See Resources Up

AROMATHERAPHY  Aromatheraphy as the term suggest is a healing process obtained through aromas of pungent oils.  First use were scented oils rubbed on the body in a massage like fashion, in my mind has zero proof in healing properties due to the fact that massaging in itself HAS been proven to heal an aching body and relieve pain.  Lately (last 30 years or so) aromatherapy has gone down another fragrant path with the use of a device called a diffuser or atomizer.  A diffuser is a glass tube four to six inch in length and about an inch in diameter, divided into two sections.  One end has a small 1/16" hole, and the  end of the glass tube screws into a brass connection with a tiny pinhead hole in the bottom that screws on a small glass bottle.  Another tiny hole in the  side of the brass connections connects to a rubber hose which is attached to a fish aquarium type air pump.   In the bottle is added some water and a few drops of aromatic oils, such as rose, lavender, eucalyptus, etc.  The air is pumped through the glass tube drawing the water/oil mixture up into the glass tube and out into the air.  These  molecule size particles are then suspended in the air and inhaled.  I enjoyed the diffuser I once used, yet I'm not sure I was ever healed by the fancy air freshener.Up

BODY WRAPS   Thalassotheraphy is the proper term for a therapeutic wrap in mud and seaweed.  The benefits vary from removing toxins to relieving aches and pains.  You might discover thalassotheraphy is available at some spas and well as the practices of herbal wraps heated in hot water.   Yet hot mud has been used for thousands of years to cause perspiration that has been proven to remove toxins (detoxification) from the skin, hence the body.  In Europe the use of hot volcanic ash mixed with paraffin is very popular.  Then there is the enzyme bath that is less messy.  Enzymes which is a type of fat found in cells or both animal and plants cause a variety set of chemical reactions.  See the RESOURCE page for information on spas and such if this is of interest to you....Up

DEEP MUSCLE THERAPY  Is a term which applies to any therapy using a deep muscle massage technique.  This may be either therapeutic or corrective.  This of course is a hands on healing art performed by professionals who usually work at neurological and rehabilitation hospitals where diseases like muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's diseases, etc., is treated. Up

DO-IN  Pronounced dough-in, is an ancient Macrobiotic  practice introduced by Michio Kushi to the United States, also infamous for the introduction of the Macrobiotic diet.  The Do-In exercise were developed over thousands of years within Oriental religions such as Hinduism, Toaism and Buddism in an effort to produce physical health and spiritual harmony with the universe.   Do-In does not need to be performed by a professional, like yoga, anyone can learn these exercises, which are designed to work on the energy meridians using  a Acupressure type massage combined with heat produced by rubbing hands or feet together.   These is no illness or affliction that Do-In exercises can't help.  Do-In can work for tired feet, abdominal pain, neck and back ache, for the nose, ears, eyes. Up

Because you've been sitting in front of your computer monitor for awhile reading this website, let us try Do-In for the eyes to improve tired eyes, far-sightedness and even blood pressure and blood circulation.  First, hold your hands over your eyes.  One palm over one eye, one palm over the other and breathe in and out slowly 5l times.  Then with your index, middle and ring fingers of each hand press firmly on the top bone of your eye socket.  Move from the area near the nose to the outer area vibrating slightly.  Do the top and bottom several times.  Now close your eyes and press slowly and gently on your eyes with the tip of your index finger, and release quickly.  do this 10 times.  next use your thumb and index finger to pinch the bridge of your nose pushing in for ten seconds and release quickly.  Finally grab your upper eyelids between thumb and index fingers and vibrate 5o to 100 times.   OOOOOooooo I feel better. Me eye strain has actually gone away.  How bout you?     See RESOURCES.... Up

ESALEN MASSAGE   ESALEN is more of a place than a technique, and it is said Esalen Massage can only be given at Esalen, a private Institute on the beautiful California coast.  The massage is given outdoors, 80 feet above the Pacific Ocean, what a view, with magnificent rolling hillside view also.   The air is fresh and the musical sounds of splashing waves is inspiring.  With organic meals preceded  by the deep tissue massage applied in long smooth strokes by professionals with soft but firm hands, how could one not feel better?  Is that a question or a comment?  It used to be $50 bucks for a 15 minute massage, these days, I'm not sure of the price.  One can choose from a menu of practitioners like ANNA, tender and gentle yet with deep pressure.  Or DEAN, gentle movements, stretches and subtle pressure to encourage release of tension of one's energetic field.  OR LIONESS combines opening the meridians, Acupressure and deep massage.  Hey, maybe I'll met some of you there one sunny day, as I live not from the location.  See RESOURCES.... FACIAL MASSAGE   Is surely somewhat more for girls and women and ladies, than it would be for boys and men and gentlemen, accept for those boys who love to be girls.  Beneath the facial skin are hundreds of tiny muscles that help one express their feeling.  A smile a frown, a squint or a pout cause crinkles and wrinkles.  These movements and the effects of heredity, sub damage and many poor health habits breakdown the elastic fiber in the skin.  Facial Massage actual consist of the use of, Do-In, acupuncture and Acupressure to give a women long lasting, yet temporary face lift.  See RESOURCES....

FRICTION RUBS   Convergence is a principle of the nervous system that is exploited in touch plus temperature plus friction.   Which summed up equals vasoconstriction.  The blood vessels are constricted when the spot of the body in focused in rubbed in a methodical way.  As a reaction to this the nerves in that area reflex and rebound to create increased blood circulation.   This increased blood flow causes blood to reach cells that any have been previously starved by the tiny capillaries.  Now, more oxygen passes to the cells and even the immune system gets a boost when more white blood cells pass though the arteries to increase lymph fluid circulation.  There are different types of friction rubs; dry brush rub, wet friction, cold mitten friction, etc.  Try brushing your scalp with a   penetrating hair brush next time you have a headache.  Poor circulation through the blood veins to the muscles is often a good of headaches.  Up

HIGHER DIMENSIONS    Laying on the hands and commanding the spirit to dance off the fingertips to heal another.   Calling down a higher power into a protect circle lined with salt and herbs.   Or the ordained Rev Burdick understudy to Oral Roberts lays his hands on the head of a sick person, and they are healed.  Etc., etc., etc., can all be put in the category of healing with the spirit of a higher dimension.  Does one need faith to believe in miracles?  Perhaps.  Faith of course is the lack of resistance to that which you hope to receive.  Healers warn against looking for an instant miracle, although most can cite cases.  Then there's Reiki that transmit the universal energy of life from one to another.  And Mahikari, like Reiki that involves a three day study period and of course a check or credit card.  There is aura balancing, all concepts that at the atomic level there is energy, that when used by a healing practitioner some results may be obtained.  See Resources....  Up

HYDROTHERAPHY   Everyone has seen folk acting like polar bears.  They get into their swimming trunks, or bikinis and take the big dive, or splash, into icy cold water.  Ice has been proven to reduce inflammation of muscle tissue, ligaments and tendons.  One can be healed with cold or hot, water or steam, but cold is the way for most, as hot water can raise blood pressure and can cause stroke or heart disease.  Not a happy notion for Jacuzzi salesmen who brag about the therapeutic affect of jet induce swirling bubbles at 789,607 per second.   Up

MYOTHERAPY   Another remedy for muscle pain, now used by doctors and dentists.  This is akin to deep tissue healing (above) and Acupressure.  The trick is finding the triggering points and massaging that area of the body with fingers and thumbs and elbows.  If you're interested, see Resources....   Up

NAPRAPATHY     (nuh-PRAH-pathy) come from the Czechoslovakian word napravit, which means to fix, combined with the Greek word pathos, which means, suffering.  Hence to fix or correct suffering.  This is yet another hands on healing to manipulate muscle, tendons, and ligaments of the body to promote fluidity of motion.  Up

ORIENTAL MASSAGE   Yet another pressure treatment (we see a pattern forming) but this one is mainly with the thumbs.   Light pressure, rubbing and kneading, pressing, vibrating, tapping, circular pressure, with names like amma and such.  This is a Japanese and Chinese experience...  See Resource....  Up

OSTEOPATHY    Here we go again Osteopathy (Os-tee-AH-path-ee) is one of two schools of Western Medical thought.  The traditional (M.D.)) school is called allopathic.  All medical students take the Hippocratic oath upon graduation.  Hippocrtares in the 4th century B.C. taught that it is our nature that that are the physicians of our diseases.  Doctors, he said, should study the entire patient and his environment.  See Resources...  Up

PET MASSAGE    If you've read this page from top to bottom, I'll tell you now, it's getting somewhat redundant.  So, let's take all the above and apply it to our pets.  How wonderful that is.  That all the above can also be applied to our kindred souls.  I love cats and dogs so much, I can't own any because the attachment is so great that the heartache of losing one is massive.  Now I'm into feeding the birds and ponds fish, and yes, when a fish or bird dies, I perform a 'right of passage' and cry a bit.  However, the pain isn't as great.  I've used pet massage to heal a friends dog that I loved.  I dog accidentally got stuck under the front tire of his owners car, and the dog became paralyzed in both back legs.  he survived at first and would pull himself around by the front legs, and like other you've surely seen, I thought of making some wheels for him.   But because I happened to live in the same house, the dog would come to me each night before I fell asleep.  He would lay on the floor and I would drop one hand over the side of the bed and massage his spine and my aura would become part of the dogs aura.   I would massage his back legs he couldn't feel.  I'd spread his toes and rub his back hips.  After x-rays and such, the vet said the dog would never walk on his back legs again, and to everyone's surprised, he did.  he wobbled a bit, but after four or five months of my massage, he was up and walking and running and going out for his normal walks with his owner.  Of course, only light spiritual touch is advised.   Never deep touch a animal in shock of with fractures or sprains, etc.  Let the normal healing processes take its course first.  See Resources....
